complete SHOCK.

i am NOT EVEN exaggerating one bit and that kinda scares me.

me and arabella were sitting on the couch and we were looking at our nails cause we painted them pink yesterday and out of NOWHERE she starts pointing to my fingers and says 'two, fwee, fou, fye (five)' !!! and if that wasn't enough then she started counting her babies fingers and she went 'two, fwee, fou, fye, sic, sev, eight, nye'.

i mean i know she missed one and ten but...
i almost crapped my pants. literally.

i mean we've counted with her and all but.... i just think that's super crazy.

and when i say we've counted with her i mean one day a while ago we were counting with her, its not like something we do everyday like colors were....

maybe its normal for her age, i dont know... i never know.... you tell me.....

i'm gonna get a video of it soon and i will post it.

Great she is right on target for girls of her age! Little girls often start their colors and numbers earlier than boys. Boys do other kind of things first. She is a smart cookie and it is completely normal to "miss" a number for her age and right through preschool. of course the older she gets the bigger number is what she might skip, rather than one.

true. but counting to, practically, 10, wow. that is crazy!
she's a genius no matter how you look at it.

Claire just started doing this a little while ago... and it's funny because she ALWAYS skips one ( I don't know why). And she usually skips eight. And like you said, it's not like we sat her down and said, "Ok. Here's how you count." Aren't they crazy???
