what the hell is the deal

with little girls wearing camouflage or zebra stripe triangle top bikinis!??!?!? i get so mad at women who for some reason think its cute to see their little girls in bikinis that are even scandalous for grown women to wear. i don't even like to see my sister in bikinis as scand as some i see on 6 year olds at the gym.. and she's 16! .... i don't know, i think just as a woman who's innocence was stolen at a very young age it means a lot to me to protect that in my daughter and it makes me furious to see how our society is constantly trying to strip our children's innocence from them... and its even worse when mothers buy into it. half the clothes out there that they make for young girls i would never put on arabella... little girls shouldn't be wearing halter tops and designer jeans, they should be wearing sun dresses and cute shirts with flowers on them... they shouldn't be walking around in tiny 'sexy' bikinis like they are grown women displaying their hot bods for men...

if we teach our little girls that what matters most is how they look and that how they look should resemble paris hilton, then i'm afraid of what our children's future will look like.

i always see girls out and i tell Noah, "i wonder if their mother knows that they are wearing that". Aiden is lucky that he isnt a girl. i know that i would have been so strict on him. like you i had my innocence stolen at a young age( i think i was like 4 or 5) so i kind of know where you are coming from on this subject.

i forgot to tell you that the word furious in this post, is linked to some pet carrier thing... random? or on purpose?

lucinda- on purpose. because what in the world could i hate more than seeing children in womens scandalous clothes? DOGS BEING PUSHED IN STROLLERS.
